Our first location in the Upper West Side is a long-anticipated one. Nestled in an almost-century-old building that’s every inch of the 1924 style in which it was built, it peers out from grey stone facade onto the verdant Verdi Square. From where we sit, this cafe was well worth the wait.
It goes without saying that guests who are so inclined can now bring their Blue Bottle single origins, blends, and espressos with them as they stroll through Central Park or along the marble hallways of the American Museum of Natural History. But even the neighborhood’s leafy residential streets, ubiquitous in movies set in Manhattan and humming with families, are no less lovely a backdrop for enjoying delicious coffee.
