Design Story
This capsule collection translates Samra Origins’ ode to Ethiopia into simple statement pieces that fit any and every lifestyle. We collaborated with Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye’s merchandise design team to create versatile soft goods made for comfort with a minimalistic style. With his mother, Samra, and her Ethiopian heritage driving this collection, we designed pieces with her name written in Amharic script as the focal point. Each limited-edition item is a symbol of our respect for Ethiopia and its culture.
