Honduras Santa Elena Catracha Enriqueta Molina

A coffee so sublime,
we're singling it out.
Each year that we work with the Catracha Community Group, we delight in the variations between each producer’s harvest. We often feature a coffee that represents the entire community, but Enriqueta Molina’s is so sublime that we’re singling it out.

Not only does she alone manage her steep farm, producing a brightly sweet, washed coffee, but she cooks in the community kitchen for the village in her off-hours.

Five years ago, a solar-power dryer could not be found in Santa Elena. Through Catracha’s training programs and her own effort, Enriqueta is now an exemplary leader and producer.
This coffee is a standout for its brightness and sweetness. Enriqueta manages the farm on her own, produces excellent coffee, and spends the rest of her free moments in the community kitchen cooking for the town and visitors. Exemplary in every way.

About This Coffee
Enriqueta Molina is part of the hardworking Catracha Community Group, a collective of farmers in Santa Elena whose commitment to quality is rewriting the village’s reputation. Only six years ago, a solar power dryer could not be found in Santa Elena; through Catracha’s training programs and her own effort, Enriqueta is now one of the many local farmers honing their coffee's deliciousness with new technologies. We often release a coffee from the entire collective, but Enriqueta’s sweet and incandescent coffee is so refined that we’re singling it out.
Details
Amber-hued and maple-sweet. As easy to like as the quick slip of peeling a tangerine. Some coffees require thought; others signal a return to the senses.
