This is our second Tanzania coffee selection of the season and also our favorite. The Mpito cooperative is comprised of 200 smallholder producers processing their coffee cherry at a central pulpery where great care is taken to preserve the intrinsic beauty and character of the crop. We feel strongly that this is one of the very best coffees we have ever encountered from Tanzania and hope it signals more great coffees in the future. Stunning. Coffees with this much tropical fruit flavor and intensity can often be hard to approach, but this particular lot is exceptionally balanced and sweet and is performing like an acrobat in every brew method we've put it through.
