The Gitwe Farmers Cooperative Society in central Kenya is made up of nearly 1000 members working smaller plots of land and processing their coffee cherry at centralized wet mills. This particular lot we were given access to is among the most refined and expressive coffees from Kenya we’ve encountered this year and we are deeply thrilled to share it with you all. A great kenya coffee like this has enormous presence in the cup, big and juicy, sweet and multifaceted. Expect mountains of flavors both comforting and exotic that will change both as your brew cools, as you move further away from the roast date, and as you experiment with different brew methods and ratios.
