This year’s Quality Project comprises microlots of washed Typica and Catuaí from a select group of farmers who belong to the inspirational collective, Catracha Coffee Company. The farmers track every aspect of cultivation and processing in order to establish the best practices for the entire community. In the face of climate change and the competitive specialty market, Catracha Quality Project investigates how to make even better, more sustainable coffee. Their hard work shows in the cup.
