Ethiopia Gedeb Worka
Were this coffee coming from any other region on earth, we’d proclaim it to be an off-the-charts outlier. It’s only because its origins are the very birthplace of Arabica itself—southern Ethiopia—that we call this natural coffee “just” exemplary. The sheer complexity and beauty of Worka Cooperative’s coffee is, in fact, what we’ve come to expect from producers in Gedeb, a township in famed Yirgacheffe. But sometimes, we have to pinch ourselves and ask: How can one small piece of earth produce so many coffees with the capacity to astound?
