The Buenavista mill sits just outside the town of Caranavi and is the gathering point for the smallholder producers who bring us this beautiful lot that we are very pleased to be sharing with you. The Yungas Valley in the Andes mountains provides the high elevation, great soil, and the accommodating climate to give this coffee its deep and pleasing flavor. A great deal of care is taken in harvesting only ripe cherry and the Buenavista mill runs a very tight ship in each step of the post-harvest processing. We think you'll be impressed with their results. Expect flavors of fig, nougat and some sweet pixie orange to appear, pleasing your palate across myriad brew methods.
