After several cycles of shipping our subscribers coffees from East Africa, we thought we'd head back to the Americas with a coffee that was a bit of a surprise for us. In some years past we've tasted great Peru coffees, and in other years the best selections fail to surface or are lost to large scale blending. Coffee farmers in Peru by and large don't have many of the same infrastructure, technical and marketing resources of other Latin American producing countries, but members of the Cenfrocafe cooperative are changing the game and turning out some amazing lots. This selection stood out to us for being very sweet and clean and having remarkable depth of flavor.
